Feast of St. Joseph - March 19th

Over 100 years ago, Mishawaka was blessed with many families coming from Calabria in southern Italy and settling on the north side of the St. Joseph River. We are celebrating this wonderful heritage of the St. Monica community with our annual St. Joseph's Day Italian Fest. Why the Feast of St. Joseph? This is the day when Italians celebrate the intercession of St. Joseph for lifting a devastating famine. Let us follow in their footsteps and thank God for our own bounty and for the powerful intercession of St. Joseph, protector of the Holy Church.

A St. Joseph's Altar will be displayed at the parish on his Feast Day. Please consider bringing non-perishable items to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Join us Friday, March 19th, 2021 for Holy Mass at 5:30pm then stop by the Parish Activity Center immediately after to pick up your Italian Meal To-Go.

Dinner will include all the items you need to make a delicious Italian dinner at home. There will be bread, pasta (to prepare at home), sauce, meatballs, and dessert (sauce, meatballs, and desserts homemade by parishioners).

Cost: $20/meal for two

Tickets will be pre-sold after weekend Masses and at the parish office. Tickets limited.

All proceeds directly benefit parish improvement projects.
